Had an awesome time aboard the FISSION 500 catching bass on Lake Glenbawn. Heading back for another weeks fishing in November.

Fished the southern entrance of the Manning river from my kayak recently chasing Flathead on soft plastics. (Mainly 5″ jerk shads). The Flatties were hammering the lures in the fast flowing water right in the Old Bar entrance. Hits nearly every cast. Caught and released heaps of fish but took home a dozen fillets. Delicious! 6 of us met at the Lemon Tree Passage boat ramp at Port Stephens on Tuesdat for a day of exploring new territory. It was dead low tide and overcast, so sandbanks were hard to see and we saw a couple of boats struggling to access deeper water. It didn’t worry us, as the FISSION 500 floats in 6 inches of water so we could take short cuts. We spent some time on Snapper Island and took heaps of beautiful photos before exploring further afield. I’ve included a couple of pics with this...

Took the FISSION 500 down to the Hawkesbury river recently. With 6 of us on board, the boat handled the fairly rough conditions we encountered on the return journey with ease.
